International students from Gengdan Institute participated in the “Laihua Cup” 2026 Capital University International Badminton Invitational Tournament

On May 10, the "Laihua Cup" 2026 Capital University International Badminton Invitational Tournament officially commenced at China University of Geosciences (Beijing). The Gengdan Institute of Beijing University of Technology dispatched a delegation of seven faculty and students from Spain, Belgium, France, Indonesia, and China to compete against hundreds of young athletes from various universities in the capital, showcasing youthful vitality and the spirit of sports on the field.

On the court, the international student athletes from Gengdan Institute displayed remarkable vitality and gave their all, demonstrating full concentration in every jump, smash, and defensive move. Undaunted by strong opponents, they competed fiercely, showcasing their passion for badminton through seamless teamwork and a positive attitude. Both on and off the court, young students from various universities across China and abroad encouraged one another and engaged in friendly exchanges, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere that vividly reflected the energy and cohesion of students worldwide.

The participating international students unanimously stated that this competition was a valuable experience, allowing them to represent Gengdan Institute in exchanges and skill-sharing with young people from various universities and countries.
