Outstanding Graduation Project of GAD

 

 

国际设计学院视觉传达2019届优秀毕业生王逸倩的毕设作品“丧念”，指导教师为郭津生教授、张欣欣老师，荣获2019动画专业优秀动画短片二等奖。

Under the guidance of Prof. Guo Jinsheng and lecturer Zhang Xinxin, excellent GAD Visual Communication graduate Wang Yiqian won the Second Prize of Excellent Short Animation Film held by the Animation Programme in 2019 for her graduation project “Bereavement”.

 

每个人生活于“系统性的自我限制”，其结果是人的行动能力越来越小，眼界也被限制，盲点也会越来越多。作品让更多的人知道每一个自杀者背后的痛苦经历。绝望是自杀的根源，孤独感、自卑感、无助感以及精神疾病等都是诱因。本项目以新闻事件为线索调研，编辑剧本、分镜、场景设计，最终绘制成动画，进行后期合成、音效配置、衍生品制作。

Everyone lives in “systematic self-restriction”. As a result, people’s mobility and vision gets restricted, with blind spots increasing. The project aims to get more people realize that every suicidal person has his own painful experience. Despair, together with loneliness, inferiority, helplessness and mental illnesses, is at the root of suicide. Taking news events as clues, this project edits scripts, makes story boards, and design the scenes. Finally animations are drawn with post-synthesis performed, sound effect configured, and derivative product designed.  

 

设计是一种解决的手段，作者希望通过设计，能减少这样的悲剧发生。

Design, as a means of solution, is expected to reduce such kinds of tragedy.

选题理由：

灵感来源于一则新闻，“面对意欲自杀者，为什么有人起哄”，而且我发现起哄者本身是社会的一员，他们面对自杀者以嬉笑、起哄的方式加剧悲剧的发生。之后又进一步的去调研制作。

Reasons for this project:

—The inspiration comes from a piece of news—“In the face of suicidal people, why do some people start to heckle?”. I found that the hecklers themselves, as members of the society, aggravate the tragedy by laughing and swearing. Then, I went on with the research and production.”

 

有什么学习方法和建议给大家？

多去看展，开阔视野；有很多有趣的设计类APP，如站酷，和Behance类的设计网站等；设计类书籍是精华，多去图书馆的艺术馆，里面的书籍很棒。此外，毕业后希望能把自己的公众号好好发展下去。

Do you have any suggestions for other students?

—Go to more shows to expand our vision. There are many interesting design APPs, such as the Zcool and Behance. Books are the essence, so we should go to the art division of our library. Books there are very nice. After graduation, I hope that I can develop my own Wechat public account.
